OXFORD – Take a step in the right direction to the Oxford Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 2 to make your very own stepping stones.

Great as gifts or to decorate your own little gardens at home, stepping stones and supplies will be provided by the library with concrete donated by Canal Street Hardware at the event. All are welcome to attend, including young children.

The Oxford Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Program is coming to an end and participants are reminded to remember to turn in your reading logs and bingo cards by August 4 so the library can establish the top readers.

When turning in their reading log or bingo card, participants will receive a free book. The top readers will be announced at the library’s annual end of summer reading carnival on August 11.
